Great British Tea Party!

Join Concerteenies audience favourite, Louise Thomson (harp) for some Great British tea party themed music at Cutlery Works, including 'Tea for Two', Teddy Bears' Picnic, 5 Current Buns and virtuoso harp repertoire Pierne's Impromptu-Capriceand Andres's Epices. Then, why not treat yourself to tea and cake at Bullion Café & Desserts or Foundry Coffee Roasters?

With songs, dancing, listening as well as bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions, this is a fun and informal gig for adults and their 0-5 year-old children.

Louise has been a well-loved regular at Concerteenies since the beginning! She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Bridgewater Hall, alongside the Hallé Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, National Symphony Orchestra and many more. Louise has performed live on BBC Radio 3 and made her television debut performing live on BBC 1 alongside soprano Katherine Jenkins. She has performed for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at The Royal Variety Performance and, with the Live Music Now Scheme, she has toured the UK giving solo recitals and educational workshops to an enormous range of audiences. http://louisethomson.com

Adults £9, first child goes free. Additional children £2.50, under 1s free. Refunds are only available when requested 1 week before the start of the event.

MORE INFO FOR ON THE DAY:

·       We want our audiences to feel safe and comfortable at our events. We continue to follow government and union recommendations on Covid-19. We are maintaining limited audience capacities and we encourage you to not arrive more than 10 minutes before your concert. You are welcome to wear a mask. We will clean props and equipment between concerts. 

  • No need to print your tickets, just show your QR code on the door.

  • Large bags and coats should be left at the side of the room.

  • There are nappy changing facilities and feel free to breastfeed.

  • You are responsible for the safety of your own children and belongings.
