Jamie Roberts is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter with many years of performance experience. Working primarily as a guitarist in the British folk scene, he has gained recognition for his innovative and adaptive playing styles through his work with award-winning contemporary folk duo Gilmore & Roberts, traditional English band Kerfuffle, and more recently The Dovetail Trio and The Emily Askew Band.

Gilmore & Roberts, being Jamie's main creative outlet, have been nominated 3 times at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and have developed a strong reputation for writing songs based on interesting stories and fascinating people. Influenced by the story-telling elements of traditional folk songs but delivered with a contemporary edge, Gilmore & Roberts often appeal to a much wider audience than just the 'folk' realm.

Our Relaxation Concert series includes classical, folk, world, popular music and nursery rhymes performed by inspirational professional musicians. Relax, listen, sleep, enjoy some sensory fun with your little ones. Concerts aim to revitalise and entertain the grown-ups as well as give your children a new magical musical experience. Sensory elements include sound, sight, touch, including bubbles, scarves, feathers and simple massage techniques for you to explore with your little one at your own pace.
