Musical Stories at Rotherham Civic: Mixed

  • Rotherham Civic Theatre Catherine Street Rotherham, England, S65 1EB United Kingdom (map)
Narrator Polly Ives and harpist Louise Thomson perform Mixed by Agree Chung.

Performances at 11am and 1pm.

Join harpist Louise Thomson, narrator Polly Ives and singer Sarah Carroll for a vibrant reimagining of the story ‘Mixed’, for children aged 3-7.

"In the beginning, there were three colours... Reds, Yellows and Blues. All special in their own ways, all living in harmony - until one day, a Red says "Reds are the best!" and starts a colour kerfuffle. When the colours decide to separate, is there anything that can change their minds? Mixed is written and illustrated by Arree Chung.

With original music composed by Paul Rissmann, Concerteenies Musical Stories concerts are a lively mix of storytelling, image projection and audience participation. They are centred around stunning performances from professional musicians in a relaxed environment. This concert also includes harp music by Grandjany, Henshall and Tournier as well as bubbles, scarves and shakers!

Start the fun now, learn the songs and actions here.

Get creative! Join us for a craft workshop and make your own Mixed city and character at 12noon.
