Join Luke Carver Goss (accordion, vocals) and Martin Harwood (guitar, fiddle, vocals) for an interactive gig to celebrate all things festive! Wear your favourite Christmas jumpers and get ready to sing and dance!

Multi-instrumentalist and community musician Martin Harwood is a well-known figure on the local and national traditional music scene primarily for his touring and recording work with bands Skyhook and Caravanserai. He is also a regular fiddle player and caller with numerous local Ceilidh bands. Alongside his performing work, Martin has nearly 20 years of experience as an early years musician, educator and trainer. He combines exceptional musicianship with a passion for making music fun and accessible for all. Martin runs the hugely popular “Small Voices Big Noises” weekly drop-in music sessions for 0-4s and adults.

Luke Carver Goss is a workshop leader, composer & performer who writes for and performs with unusual and regular instrumental combinations and devises musical material with the groups he works with. He writes, performs and runs creative workshops regularly with poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan. His music includes commissions for Black Dyke Brass Band, Tredegar Town Band, The Sage Gateshead, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Symphony Orchestra and London Sinfonietta. He was a composer for the Cultural Olympiad and his piece ‘Pure Gold: a 4X4 Relay’ was broadcast on Radio 2 and 3.

With songs, dancing, listening as well as bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions, this is a fun and informal gig for adults and their young children aged 0-7.

TICKETS

  • Adults £10.50, under 1s free, children aged 1+ years £3.50.

  • Please book a ticket for all attendees.

  • Refunds are available when requested 7 days before the start of the event. Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable.
